Friday night Southeast was in Tiger Gym for a rematch from three weeks ago that was one of Luskís closest games of the season. This game didnít start out as close, in what has been a disturbing trend for the Tigers. The visitors held NCHS without a point in the first quarter, while gaining a 14 point lead. Monte Wade and Jake Heil got Lusk on the board while SEís shooting cooled a bit-taking a 23-4 lead into halftime.

Teagan Tschacher and James Blackburn each buried treys, but it wasnít enough to spark a run in the second half. Luskís defense and hustle never quit despite offensive woes continuing to haunt this team in the 46-24 loss.

Saturday was a death trap that could not be avoided, as the Tigers were to face the top-ranked, undefeated defending state champs on their home court for Senior Night. As the Hornets have done to everyone else over the past two and a half years, they put up a lot of points quickly. The 25-11 first quarter turned into a 58-22 halftime advantage.

Throughout the second half PB continued to pour on the scoring in an attempt to hit triple digits. The Tigers defense kept them six points shy in the 94-37 final score.
