The second half payment of the 2016 property tax is due on or before May 10. The second half is considered delinquent May 11 and is subject to 18 percent interest. Due to budget constraints, the Property Tax Refund Program did not receive the necessary funding to continue the program for the 2016 tax year. The Department of Transportation said they would be doing press releases regarding the upcoming registration fee increase, but I haven’t seen anything, and I would like to get the word out that fees will increase July 1. Could you run this some time when you have room? It doesn’t need to be next week.
Vehicle State Fees Increasing
