DOUGLAS- Wyoming has its very own Wonder Woman, at least, that’s what Dr. Deeanna Engle’s patients and co-workers call her.
In a short video found on Memorial Hospital of Converse County’s Facebook page, they highlight how Dr. Engle has helped throughout her career to shape the level of compassionate care patients receive at MHCC
Dr. Engle is a family medicine doctor at Memorial Hospital in Douglas, and has a special interest in women’s health through all stages of life, and has over 13 years of experience in the field of medicine. She graduated from University of Washington School of Medicine with her medical degree in 2004. While there, she published a paper in the King County Medical Journal on the legibility of prescriptions. Dr. Engle completed her residence training at the Rapid City Regional Hospital Family Medicine Program. She became Chief Resident while there. Dr. Engle is the daughter of Bob and Polly Johnson of Lusk.
