“All the Light We Cannot See” is the featured book for the Read and Feed book discussion on Monday, May 8 at noon. From the highly acclaimed, multiple award-winning author Anthony Doerr, the stunningly beautiful bestseller is about a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II. Ready for a unique and talented take on a wide range of musical traditions? Claude Bourbon is known throughout Europe and America for amazing guitar performances that take blues, Spanish, and Middle Eastern stylings into uncharted territories. The library presents Bourbon on Wednesday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church, 120 E. 5th Street, Lusk. Plan to attend!

Be sure to mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 24 for the program “Indians of Northwest Nebraska!” Historian Randy Kane will speak about events that occurred in Dawes and Sioux counties in Nebraska involving some of the major figures in the Sioux and Cheyenne Indian wars. A bus tour of these sites will then be held on Saturday, June 17. The bus will leave Lusk at 8 a.m. and return around 5 p.m. Call Leslie Stewart at 308-430-2464 to secure your spot, the tour fee is $20 and lunch will be on your own at Ft. “Deep Fake” is the latest novel by Ward Larsen.
