LUSK - Mahatma Gandhi has been attributed as saying, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. Three Niobrara County residents were honored for their dedication to our community on December 19, 2018.
County Commissioner, Richard Ladwig, has served the county for more than 20 years. Sheriff Rick Zerbe, who has worked for the Niobrara County Sheriff’s Office for 33 years and Niobrara County Clerk, Kayla Courtright, for almost eight years.
A steady stream of appreciative community members took a moment of their time to show their gratitude for the trio’s commitment to their county.
