Councilwoman Miller steps down

Posted

“You’re off to great places! Today is your day! You mountain is waiting, so…Get on your way!” –Dr. Seuss.

“I ran because I care for this town and its people. I believe it is important that the younger generation step up and be leaders. Running for the council position seemed like a great opportunity to do just that” Councilwoman Katelynn Miller states of her original decision to run for Lusk council two years ago. Officially, Miller has stepped down from her position to chase her passion in the paramedic field by returning to school. “I have learned so much in my two years on the Council. Some lifelong skills I have learned [include] how to be a better listener and communicate more effectively” says Miller. Miller plans to move to Cheyenne where she will participate in the LCCC Paramedic Program to receive her full paramedic license. “Thank you all for your support, encouragement, and believing in me along the way. I could not have done it without you all. I will always care for Lusk and the community and it will always hold a special place in my heart” exclaims Miller.
