NIOBRARA COUNTY – Two individuals associated with the Niobrara County Weed and Pest department earned awards for their long service recently.
Jim Wasserburger received a jacket from the Wyoming Weed & Pest Council at its 75th Annual Conference in Evanston, for 45 years of service on the Niobrara County Weed and Pest board. Jim’s dedication and knowledge to and for the District has been invaluable. Niobrara County Weed & Pest has undergone many changes throughout Jim’s tenure on the board and Jim’s expertise has been monumental in implementing those changes. We cannot thank him enough for his service and dedication to the District and his ongoing support of the Weed and Pest Management program.
Supervisor Gail Mahnke was also honored with a diamond service pin marking 30 years, awarded to her by the Wyoming Weed and Pest Council.
