GLENROCK – Hard luck continued to fall upon the Niobrara County High School volleyball team in Saturday’s conference game at Glenrock.
The first set was a 25-11 win for the home team before the second set went 25-14 for the Lady Herders. In the third set NCHS battled much closer but came up short in the 25-19 final score.
NCHS TEAM STATS: Serving 38/48, 79 pct. 11 kills/63 attempts. 10 assists. Digs 94/123, 76 percent.
NCHS PLAYER STATS: Serving – Jaden Stauffer 6/6; Adelle DesEnfants 8/10; Lily Krueger 4/5; Renae Marker 10/13, 3 aces. Kills- Riley Shaw 3; Marker 3. Assists – Bruch 6; Shaw 4. Stuff blocks – Marker 4. Digs – Marker 21; Anna Richardson 20; Bruch 17; Shaw 16.
The JV squad fell in a pair of matching 25-11 scores.
This week Moorcroft visits Tiger Gym Thursday for three matches beginning at 5 p.m. NCHS makes a trip to Yoder Friday starting at 4:30 p.m., and wraps up the weekend with Glenrock coming to town, starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
