LUSK – Notice House District 2 Vacancy – Effective Oct. 1, 2021, Hans Hunt resigned as House District 2 Representative of the Wyoming Legislature. The Republican Precinct Committeemen and Republican Precinct Committeewomen of House District 2 will have a meeting on Oct. 14, 2021, at 6 p.m., at the Niobrara County Fair Grounds in Lusk. This meeting is open to the public to attend. House District 2 comprises of Precincts in Weston and Goshen County and all of Niobrara County. Per W.S. 22-18-111, the product of this meeting will submit three names to the Board of County Commissioners of Weston, Goshen, and Niobrara Counties. People wishing to submit their name for consideration to fill the vacancy can contact their county Chairman: Kari Drost, Jeb Hanson, or Kirk Haas. To be eligible, you must reside in House District 2. Submissions must be received by 5 p.m. on Oct. 12, 2021.
