WHEATLAND- Wyoming’s grass-roots ranch organization, ICOW (Independent Cattlemen of Wyoming), is hosting a ranch rodeo in Wheatland, WY, on August 11, 2018. This unique western tradition will be at the Platte County Fairgrounds, starting at 11:00 a.m. It is great entertainment for the entire family. The Rodeo will be comprised of 4-man teams, with an entry fee of $300/team. The top three places will receive prize money. For entries or more information, call Cody at 307-340-0908 or Mike at 307-340-0992.
In addition to the rodeo, ICOW is supporting the national organization, RCALF, by having tickets available for a 2018 Polaris Ranger (Crew XT 1000) raffle. For those who are not familiar with model numbers, it is a 4-man, really nice side-by-side ranch or recreational vehicle. RCALF will draw the winners at their national convention, August 25, in Rapid City. Prizes down to 4th place, which include George Strait concert tickets for two in Las Vegas, $1000 and $500, will be given away. For more ticket and prize information contact Bobby Giesse, ICOW president, at 307-334-3680.
