Lights of Love begin to shine

Posted

As we consider the Thanksgiving season, it is important to remember the many people who have blessed our lives.  The Niobrara Hospital Auxiliary sponsors the Lights of Love tree on the corner by the Niobrara Hospital during the holiday season, where the tree will glow with many colors to the end of the year.  A form can be found in each issue of the Lusk Herald with instructions to follow.

Jess and Eleanor Rodgers of Douglas sent a request for a regal gold light to shine in memory of his parents, Bob and Laura Dixon.  John William Wasserburger lights another regal gold light for his parents, Harry Sr. and Anne Pfister Wasserburger.  Another gold light will shine for his friends, Bill and Gemila Stetson.

Anna May Oliver selected a gold light for her parents Stanley and Phebe Fraser, and chose a purple light for her three sisters; Tess Townsend, Phebe Moran and Myrna Gabel.  She asked for a beautiful blue light for her two brothers Floyd and Phill Fraser and a special red light for her grandson Cory Smith.

The Hospital Auxiliary will have a booth at the Holiday Bazaar on the first Saturday in December at the Niobrara Fairgrounds, where holiday greens will be available along with information on how to become a member of the auxiliary.  A list of the projects funded will also be available.
