On the afternoon of January 22, Lusk local, Tim Schrader, was out doing something he was known for…helping people. The roads were snow packed and icy and a motorist had run off of the road north of town. Schrader was attempting to assist the motorist and was between the vehicles when another vehicle lost control and hit the parked vehicles, severely injuring him. The accident caused breaks in both legs, one arm and several ribs. He also suffered a broken pelvis, nose and finger as well as severe head trauma. Tim has been at the Casper hospital since the accident, but he was released on Friday, the 16th and is now home. Tim is very glad to be home and is up for visitors. A “Benefit For Tim Schrader” account has been set up at the Lusk State Bank for those wishing to donate. Tim has no medical insurance.
