CHEYENNE – Two students from Lusk Middle School participated at the regional science fair in Cheyenne on Jan. 26. Both students did their science fair research, project and presentation board, outside of the regular classroom time.
Nathan Fish did his project with his guinea pigs. He wanted to know if his pets liked organic apples or conventional apples better. He proved that his guinea pigs did like the organic apples better.
Evelyn DesEnfants’ project was on reaction time of different age groups. She designed an app for her tablet to do the testing.
This was Nathan’s first trip to the science fair and he received very high marks. Evelyn won her division and will now compete at the state science fair, March 3 – 5, in Laramie.
