Lusk Volunteer Fire Department: July Updates

A new Facebook page has been set up for the Lusk Volunteer Fire Department under the same name. The page hosts monthly updates and some training with the intent to keep locals updated on what the department is doing to ensure safety in our county.
The Lusk Volunteer Fire Department consists of 17 volunteer members. Report for the month of June is
as follows:
July 4: Car wreck north of Lusk
July 4: Yard on fire in Lusk
July 4 Fire suppression for the firework show

July 6: Grass fire South of Lusk
July 7: Grass fire north of Lusk
July 8: Controlled burn South of Lusk
July 10: Grass fire north of Lusk
July 13: Grass fire north of Lusk
July 13: Grass fire north of Lusk
July 16: Grass fire west of Manville
July 23: Grass fire west of Manville
July 28: Car wreck south of Lusk

Lusk Volunteer Fire Department would like to Advise: With heavy traffic starting in the month of August and expected throughout the end of summer, LVFD asks everyone to be extremely cautious on the highways. Risk of accident is
heavily increased.
