Melinda Rae (Collins) Norris passed away the afternoon of August 1, 2018, in Canyon Country, California. Her husband, Ned Norris, was with her when she passed peacefully in her sleep. She had been ill for some time.
Melinda moved to Lusk with her family at age 12, and attended junior high and high school there before moving to Denver and earning her licensed practical nursing degree.
She leaves behind her husband, Ned, as well as two sisters (Gady Bramlet of Fort Worth, Texas, and Marnie Olmstead of Solvang, California), three nieces, one nephew, four grandnieces, and three grandnephews. She was predeceased by one nephew, Robert Collins (Bo) Bramlet.
Melinda was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. R.W. Collins, who lived in Lusk for many years.
