On March 22, Bill Burt, of Manville, traveled to Colorado with other family members, Jackie Bredthauer, Dave and Linda Lingelbach of Lusk, and Lacey Hauf, of Cheyenne, to attend the funeral service for Sharon Moore held on Friday afternoon in Littleton, Colo. They returned to Cheyenne the next day to help Kellen Hauf celebrate his fifth birthday with cake and ice cream at the home of his parents, Michael and Lacey Hauf. Afterward, they watched the University of Wyoming Cowgirls play in the NIT tournament in Laramie at the Arena Auditorium with a win over Southern Alabama. The Haufs returned to their home in Cheyenne and the rest drove home to Manville and Lusk.

Gary and Debby Bayne had end-of-the-month weekend visitors in March; her sister Jackie and husband Mike Lance. They arrived from their home in Laramie on Saturday and attended services together at the Congregational Church the next morning. After lunch, they all went to Torrington to enjoy a concert by Bar J Wranglers, which regularly performs in Jackson, which was held Sunday afternoon at Eastern Wyoming College.

Thirty-three members of the Bill Burt family gathered for a mini-family reunion in Deadwood, S.D., to celebrate the 60th birthday of Kathy Striker of Lusk and the 21st birthday of Kristen Haynes of Cheyenne on Saturday, March 30.
