The “snow birds” (geese) are flying back from the south. Maybe Spring is actually on the way, finally! Even a few two-legged humans returning from their warmer winter quarters. It’s great to welcome them back, too.

On Wednesday, April 17, Stan and Paulette Hahn were overnight visitors in the home of his mother, Phyllis Hahn. They took advantage of an Easter/Spring break to drive to Wyoming to visit daughters and their families in Casper. Breakfast coffee and pastries at Rough and Refined coffee shop were enjoyed in the morning before their return to Nevada, where Stan teaches earth science in a Las Vegas Middle School.

The annual Niobrara Hospital luncheon held on Thursday, April 18, at noon at the Niobrara Fairgrounds was enjoyed by many. Comments by diners as they left, were very complimentary about the delicious salads and amazing homemade cookies. The annual fundraiser has helped the Niobrara Hospital and Rawhide Clinic with many important, much needed equipment and amenities.

Don and Suzanne Hahn were Easter weekend visitors in the home of Phyllis Hahn. They brought the special dinner to save her the effort of cooking and had an enjoyable visit after attending church service with her at the Congregational Church in the morning.
