Online School to Celebrate New Facility with Open House

Posted

While online schools conduct their classes virtually they also operate physical buildings to serve their students and community. Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 15, Wyoming Virtual Academy (WYVA) will host an open house to celebrate their new facility in Lusk, home to the school’s administrative offices.

WYVA is currently in its 11th year of operation. The new facility demonstrates a great show of support to the school by the community and will allow WYVA to continue to support students statewide. WYVA is excited to open its doors to the Lusk community, and to celebrate their new space.

WYVA staff and current families will be in attendance and all are invited to learn more about the statewide public school. Tours of the new facility will be offered, as well as an overview of student materials, and a demonstration of virtual education. Guest speakers at the event will include WYVA’s Head of School Jeff Verosky and George Mirich, Superintendent at Niobrara County School District #1.
