LUSK – Peggy G. (Willadson) Graves was born Aug. 6, 1942, in Newcastle. She passed away Wed., March 16, 2020, in Lusk.

She grew up in Osage with her siblings. She graduated from Upton in 1960. After graduating she went to work at Johnston’s Fuel Line Inc. as a secretary.

Peggy married Danny Graves Aug. 17, 1967. Living in Lance Creek, she continued secretary work for her husband and a couple of small oil companies. On Jan. 14, 1970 they had their son, Neil Daniel Graves.

Leaving Lance Creek, they moved to Douglas in 1974 for a short time. Moving to Belle Creek, Mont., Peggy decided she liked being a stay-at-home mother. They returned to Douglas in 1979. In 1986 they moved to Lusk to later on enjoy their retirement years.

Peggy enjoyed fishing with her husband, walking downtown to socialize in a tavern on her way home. She quilted and cross stitched in the long winter months. Summer brought, joy of all joys, gardening and sitting back with a cold Bud Light admiring her garden and flower beds.
