LUSK – Phil Charles Brewster, 88, passed away March 17, 2021 at Lusk Hospital. Memorial services will be held at a later date and time on the Brewster Ranch.
Nov. 5, 1933 in Lusk Hospital, Stanford Brewster and Mary Ann Philip welcomed Phil into the world. Phil grew up and completed 12 years of schooling. He started his career journey working as a rancher for his Granddad, went on to work for the Sheriff’s Department and retired from the Wyoming Highway Department. During this time, he married and became a father, then remarried Wanda Brewster, who was the love of his life. Phil was a proud member of the Elks. He was an avid arrowhead hunter, a woodworker and a historian. Phil spent many hours doing the things he loved, which were reading, watching women’s sports, and collecting (everything).
Phil is survived by his wife Wanda Brewster, his son David Brewster, stepchildren Roxie, Cody, Vicky and Nicky, grandsons Philip, Newly and many more step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phil was preceded in death by his father Stanford, mother Mary Ann, his step-mother LaBrie, his brothers Stan, James and Marvin, his daughter Koni and his step-daughter Pam.
The family requests that any memorials/cards be sent to the Elks Lodge No. 1797, 602 S. Elm St., P.O. Box 897, Lusk, WY 82225.
