LUSK, WY –Building safety issues have forced the Postal Service to make scheduled repairs at the Lusk Post Office. The repairs will impact operations starting Nov. 9 and ending Nov. 13.
The following operations will be impacted:
On Nov. 9 and 10, there will be no access to Post Office Boxes. However, mail will be sorted from the dock and will be distributed to walk-up customers with proper identification.
No mail will be distributed on Nov. 11, Veteran’s Day. PO Box mail will resume delivery on Monday, Nov. 13.
Mail will be delivered to highway contract routes as scheduled on Nov. 9-10. No mail will be delivered on Nov. 11, Veteran’s Day.
On Nov. 9 and 10, there will be no retail services available due to the repairs. The retail window is scheduled to be closed on Nov. 11, Veteran’s Day. Retail services will resume at noon on Monday, Nov. 13.
During the repairs, full retail services will be offered in Manville, WY, located at 225 9TH AVE. The hours will be expanded to Th-Fr: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m, closed on Saturday.
This is a temporary suspension of services, not a permanent closure.

“The safety of our employees and customers is paramount,” said Postmaster Rhonda White. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers and are working to quickly find a solution.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
