PRIMARY PARTISAN CANDIDATES
Wyoming has a CLOSED Primary Election System, which means you must vote a straight party ticket. You are only allowed to vote Republican or Democrat in this election. This allows each party to nominate their most popular candidate to run in the General Election.

If you wish to change your party, you must do so prior to receiving your election ballot. Contact an election judge at the polls to change your party.

The names of the candidates will be rotated on the official ballots by precinct and will not necessarily appear in the order indicated on the Sample Ballot. The official ballots will also have an oval next to each candidate's name on the paper and touch screen ballots.
