With the start of the infrastructure project in the coming fiscal year, water, sewer, and streets will see a significant increase in budgetary revenue and expenditures. The revenue for the streets is in the miscellaneous revenue of general government. The revenue for the infrastructure project will come from loans and grants from the Office of State Lands and Investments and USDA RUS. The airport is requesting a snow plow from State funds which the Town will pay 4% and there will be no airport improvement project. The general government shows a decease due to the decease in 1% and 3% Sales and Use Tax and no snow removal money from the State. The 1% Specific Purpose Tax revenue will be put in a separate account that will be held to repay the loans, along with user fees.
If you would like to see a breakdown of each department, you can view it on the Town website, www.townoflusk.org or visit Town Hall and request a copy.
