NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
TOWN OF LUSK
The Town of Lusk, Niobrara County, Wyoming, 201 E. Third Street will conduct a public meeting at 5:00 p.m. local time, on July 29th, in the Council Chambers at Lusk Town Hall, 201 E. Third Street. The purpose of the meeting is to inform the citizens that the Town is requesting an increase for the Phase II Application Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the Capital Construction Loan Fund.
At the meeting, the Town of Lusk will present the increase requested for the project and will discuss the estimated increased cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at Town of Lusk Town hall or at the office of AVIpc. Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Lusk plans to borrow $5,490,000.00 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments, which is an increase of $380,000.00. Increased user fees and the 1% Specific Purpose Tax will repay the loan. The average rate increase is estimated to be $20.00 per user to repay the loan. Loan terms will be 2.5% interest rate and 30 years.
Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Lusk plans to borrow $4,060,000.00 from the Wyoming Capital Construction Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments, which is an increase of $990,000.00.
