Public Notice No. 5689



The Lusk Town Council, acting as the Planning and Zoning Board, has received the following proposed zoning change request: 

Proposed Zoning Change: General Industrial to Limited Industrial

Property Area: Beginning at the Southwest Corner of Block 3; then running north along the west boundaries of Block 3, Block 8, Block 11 and Outlot 1 to a point which is the Northwest Corner of Outlot 1; then running east along the North boundary line of the Lusk City Limits to a point which is the Northeast Corner of Lot 18 in Block 15; then running south along the east boundary lines of Lots 10-18 in Block 15, Lots 9-15 in Block 19, Block 4 and Block 1 to a point which is the Southeast Corner of Block 1; then west along the south boundary line of Block 1 to the point of beginning. 

Proposed Use: To allow no junk yards

In accordance with Lusk Municipal Code, Ordinance 15-75-110 a public hearing will be held at the Lusk Town Council Chambers at 201 E. 3rd St., Lusk, WY on Tuesday December 7th at 5:00 p.m.

Pursuant to Lusk Municipal Code, Ordinance 15-75-120 “If 20% or more of the owners of lots in this area proposed for change or within 140 feet of the area protest against the change, the amendment shall not become effective unless a favorable vote of ¾ of the Governing Body is given.” Please respond in writing for or against the zoning change to the Town Office at PO Box 390, Lusk, WY 82225 or in person at the above scheduled public hearing.
