TOWN OF LUSK
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
February 7, 2022 4:00 P.M.
The Town of Lusk Council held a special meeting on Monday February 7th, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. via phone to amend Resolution No. 22-2 and Resolution No. 22-3.
Present were Mayor Doug Lytle, Council Members Dean Nelson and Becky Blackburn.
Absent: Council Member Tom Dooper and Chantry Filener
Others present were Linda Frye Clerk/Treasurer, Desirae Matthews-LeLeux Deputy Clerk/Treasurer, and Dennis Meier Town Attorney.
Council Member Nelson, Town Attorney Meier, Linda Frye and Desirae Matthews-LeLeux attend the meeting in person at the Town Office. Mayor Lytle and Council Member Blackburn attended by phone.
Mayor Lytle called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Mayor Lytle stated that it was necessary to amend the resolutions due to receiving price quotes on the Vactor Impact Sewer Cleaner Vac Truck and the Elgin Sweeper Truck that were different than what was on the current resolutions.
Resolution No. 22-2 requested a grant in the amount of $243,750.00 for a total price of $325,000.00 for the Vactor Impact Sewer Cleaner Vac Truck. The price quote received was $313,120.00 making the 75% grant $234,840.00. Resolution 22-3 requested a grant in the amount of $168,750.00 for a total price of $225,000.00 for the Elgin Sweeper Truck. The price quote received was $257,270.00 making the 75% grant $192,952.50.
Mayor Lytle asked for a constant vote on the two resolutions.
COUNCIL MEMBER NELSON MOVED, SECOND BY COUNCIL MEMBER BLACKBURN, to amend Resolutions No. 22-2 and 22-3 to reflect the new quotes of $234,840.00 for Resolution No. 22-2 and $192,952.50 for Resolution No. 22-3. A voice vote was taken. COUNCIL MEMBER BLACKBURN VOTED AYE, COUNCIL MEMBER NELSON VOTED AYE, AND MAYOR LYTLE VOTED AYE. MOTION CARRIED.
Mayor Lytle adjourned the meeting at 4:05 p.m.
