The Lady Tigers garnered a 4th place finish as a team as they had several top performers.  The team scored 56 points and placed behind several larger 3A schools

Miranda Gilkey continued her great start to the season placing 1st in the triple jump (33’ 4.75”), 2nd in the high jump (4’ 10”), and 3rd in long jump (14’ 4.25”).

Sophomore Taylor Gaukel had a nice start to her track season placing 4th in the 100 hurdles, 6th in the 300 hurdles, and 6th in the triple jump.

Freshman Miranda Mosley earned silver in the pole vault going 8’ 3” while teammate Jalyn McDaniel placed 6th in pole vault.

The girls’ 4 X 800 relay team of Gaukel, Mosley, McDaniel, and Julianne Graham placed 3rd with a time of 11:55.26.  This is the first time these girls ran a relay this year.

Marie Hendrickson also had a fantastic day as she placed 6th in the discus going a career best 99’ 9” and 8th in the shot put throwing 30’ 8”.  Mackenzie Lyons also joined Hendrickson in the finals of the shot put going 30’ 4”.  Hendrickson’s efforts in the throwing events earned her Athlete of the Week.

On the boys’ side, Riley Ross vaulted his way to the State Track Meet in Casper going a prequalification height of 11’ 6” in the pole vault to place 4th.  He also earned an 8th place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 58.0.
