Roger Eugene Craggs was born May 17th, 1946 in Boulder Colorado to Eugene Howard Craggs and Myra Eloise Craggs-Wilson. Roger spent many years in Colorado where he enlisted in the Navy. His career with the Navy led to service on both the U.S.S. Bennington and the U.S.S. Constellation, air craft carriers. There, he achieved a rank of AE3, Aviation’s Electronics Technician. After the Navy Roger started a long and prosperous career as a truck driver. He put in 42 years on the road and hauled everything from fuel to equipment from coast to coast. Often with his wife Jill at his side. He and Janet “Jill” Francis Riddler met in 1976 and married in 1977. Roger and Jill combined their families and soon after had two sons of their own. In 1996 they moved to Wyoming and lived in Lusk until their deaths
Roger is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jill and brother Bill Craggs. He is survived by and extensive family to include brother, Glenn Craggs and wife Trish of Erie Colorado, two sons Casey Craggs and wife Tracie of Gillette Wyoming, Clint Craggs and fiance Brandi of Lusk Wyoming John and Patty Powell of Gardner Kansas, Allen and Marty Powell of Peculiar Missouri, Steve Powell of Gillette, Wyoming. He was greatly blessed with 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Roger passed peacefully, in his home, in the company of his beloved dog, Tipsy, after long term health complications
