RV explodes, burns

Heather Goddard/Special to the Herald Sheriff’s deputy Ashley Clark directed traffic around the 200 block of North Copper after an RV belonging to Patrick and Tara Cole caught fire engulfing the surrounding area in thick black smoke.

LUSK – Local fire crews this hour battled a fire in the 200 block of North Copper Street after a recreational vehicle reportedly exploded in the backyard of a residence.

Officials said the fire was extinguished and there were no injuries. No other structures at the residence were involved.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
