On Saturday, October 14th the Silver Cliff Theatre Company will be hosting Mark Taylor and Joe Fleenor for a storytelling dinner theater.. A free workshop will be held that morning beginning at 9am at the Fair Grounds. Mr. Taylor and Mr. Fleenor will be teaching the art of storytelling and improvisational speaking. The NCHS speech team will be participating and all community members interested are encouraged to come. 

Matthew Taylor is an  award-winning author, professional actor, storyteller and humorist entertains audiences throughout the U.S. and internationally. Transplanted to Colorado from the small sailing village of Itchenor, England, Matthew is a partner of A.C.E. Entertainment, a creator and producer of over twenty-five original shows.  Matthew has a long history of coaching theater, storytelling, and the art of improvisation. He formed Persuasion through Narrative in 2010 to teach communication skills through embracing the power of story. 

Joe Fleenor is a professional storyteller and was voted the winner of the Moth Story Slam in Denver twice. He also produced, directed, and performed in “Englewood Live” a talent show that featured storytellers, musicians, poets, and even a grand romantic three act opera in only eight minutes. He is looking forward to working with and listening to the storytellers in Lusk. 

Meal will be buffet style and prepared by Hickory Creek Catering. With several other local acts including the Silver Cliff Crooners the Theatre company hopes to see you all there! Tickets are available at the Lusk Chamber of Commerce Office or by calling Heather at 307-334-5015.
