The 2nd Annual NCHS Alumni Golf Tournament will be held June 23rd, 2017 at the Lusk Golf Course starting at 9:00. The 2016 event was a huge success. With the help of generous donors/sponsors, volunteers, and 18 teams participating, $4,000 was donated to the Niobrara Alumni Association to award scholarships to NCHS graduates. As a result of the success, this year’s tournament will host 27 3-man teams. This tournament will be a handicapped scramble. Similar to last year, all proceeds will be donated to the Niobrara Alumni Association for scholarships, in memory of Jeremy Wasson (Class of 1994), Tara Wasson (Class of 2000) and Leslie Jergensen (Class of 2000).
At least one member of the team must have some affiliation to NCHS. This affiliation includes, but is not limited to: graduate of NCHS, a child of a NCHS graduate, current or past staff/faculty member of NCHS, or married to a former alumni or employee of NCHS. The price per team is $225 if paid before June 1st and $255 after June 1st. Although team slots are filling fast, there will be a wait list so don’t hesitate signing up your team! Hole and pin prizes will be available along with prizes for first, second, and third place teams.
Although we have made a conscious effort to not solicit Lusk businesses and residents for donations (unless it is your class reunion year), it has been brought to our attention that there is an interest from the community in contributing.
