St. George’s Episcopal church welcomes a new Priest, Rev. Brian K. Gross, to their congregation. Rev. Gross shares the following.
I was born in Casper where I lived most of my life. After getting a degree in Psychology I worked as a case manager for folks with Developmental Disabilities. It was here that I met the person I would marry and we began our family. After several years in this field I moved into the world of retail management which took us to Missouri for a few years and then to Colorado before returning to Casper. During that time our family grew with the birth of our three daughters, Hannah, Allison, and Zoey. They are now 19, 17, and 15 years old respectively. It was while in Casper that I received the Call from God to enter the ministry. I served Christ Episcopal Church in Glenrock as a Deacon and attended Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts where I received my Masters of Divinity. After graduation I was ordained as a Priest and have been serving All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Torrington for the last three years. I am excited about this new opportunity to also serve the wonderful people of Lusk at St. George’s Episcopal Church. I have just begun here in Lusk but already sense the closeness and sense of strong community here in Lusk. I look forward to a wonderful future here.
