Niobrara County elected officials were sworn in prior to the commissioners meeting on January 3. Pete Pier, Coroner (L-R), Becky Freeman, County Clerk, Patrick Wade, Commissioner, Anne Wasserburger, County Attorney, Chrisanna Lund, Clerk of Court, Teri Stephens, County Assessor, Elaine Griffith, Commissioner, Keri Thompson, County Treasurer and Randy Starkey, Sheriff.

The Niobrara County Commissioners regular meeting held on Jan. 3 followed the standard order. Head of Road and Bridge Fred Thomas reports that Road and Bridge is handling things well and have gotten most roads cleared in the county.
