Donovan Kruse (152), Miles Ashurst (182), Stanton Ricketts (132) were defeated and the Indians took a forfeit at 145 pounds.

Caldera, Gabe Matthews (106), West and Coffman all won by pin fall over their Cheyenne East T-Bird opponents, but Kruse, Ashurst, Ricketts and Johnson were all defeated. Kruse and Johnson lost by decision while Ashurst and Ricketts were pinned. East won the dual 26-24 with a forfeit by NCHS in the 145-pound class.

In a handful of unscored matches Kruse, West and Coffman won, but Ricketts and Johnson lost by narrow margins.

On Saturday, the Tigers opened with the home squad of Newcastle/Upton and struggled as Coffman won a 5-2 decision and Caldera pinned his opponent. The rest of the Tigers were defeated as the Dogies/Bobcats won 52-9.

After a short break, NCHS defeated the Thunder Basin JV 33-24. Coffman, Johnson and Ashurst got Lusk started with pins and Caldera received a forfeit win. Matthews and West also pinned their opponents to secure the victory for the Tigers.

The Bison took wins over Johnson, Ashurst and Coffman and forfeits in four other weights in the 48-24 final score. Kruse, Caldera, West and Ricketts earned wins for NCHS.
