The Tigers opened their 2025 track and field campaign in Pine Bluffs on Friday.  The boys finished with 43 points to place 6th while the girls scored 12.7 to finish 9th.  

Nathan Miller opened his junior year by prequalifying in 3 events.  He placed 3rd in the high jump clearing 6’ 2”.  He also earned a pair of 5th place finishes in the horizontal jumps.  He went just over 40’ in the triple and just shy of 20’ in the long.

Isaac Assman also had a strong start earning a gold medal in the 110 hurdles in a time of 16.54.  He also placed 6th in the high jump clearing 5’ 8”  Both of those marks were prequalifying marks.  He also placed 6th in the 300 hurdles.

Raynce Brott brought home the only other gold medal throwing a personal best 144’ in the discus, which also was also a prequalifying mark.

The 4X100 relay of Kayden Goodwin, Joaquin Cassiano, Connor Luker, and Malachi Ybarra rounded out the scoring placing 6th.

For the girls, sophomore Marleigh Smith won silver in the high jump clearing 5’ to prequalify for state.  She also placed 7th in the pole vault clearing 7’.

Senior thrower Kyra Willey placed 6th in the discus throwing a personal best and prequalifying mark of 103’ 9”.

Addisyn Bauersachs rounded out the scoring for the Tigers placing 8th in the high jump clearing 4’ 6”.
