NIOBRARA – Fathers and their family will be able to celebrate in a unique way on Father’s Day at the Hanson Research Station in Norther Niobrara County on June 10 from noon to 4 p.m.
The Johnson-Hanson Research Station will host their Father’s Day event with information about dinosaur fossils.
Last year, they celebrated the grand opening of a new research facility at the Hanson Research Station. The station boasts a state-of-the art facility, which will now provide protection from the elements.
Dinosaur discoveries ranged from a Triceratops skull to a rare Nano-tyrannosaur jawbone.
The Hanson Research Station is open to visitors and has welcomed over 2,000 guests. Those who may be interested in joining digs or visiting the Dinosaur Museum can visit their website at https://swau.edu/dinosaur-museum/.
