LUSK – Every year the Lusk Elk’s Lodge BPO #1797 has been hosting an annual Easter Egg hunt and this year is no different. The Easter Egg hunt will be held on April 12 at 1 p.m. sharp at Northside Park. Alternate date in case the weather is bad on April 12 will be April 19 at 1 p.m. sharp at Northside Park.
According Jessi Walduck there were 15 local merchants who donated to the Elk’s. Walduck told the Herald the Elk’s members put together 3,000 eggs this year to lay out for the children to find. Three of the eggs have $50 in them for some lucky child to find.
The Elk’s has been working together within the community to offer fun activities for the children for years. The Easter Egg hunt is just one among many other things they do. It is important for parents to show up a little early because once the Easter Egg Hunt begins it is over within a matter of minutes.
