LUSK - The Lusk Police Department showed their thankfulness this Thanksgiving with being able to hand out 22 Thanksgiving boxes to the community on November 25. This was their third year of helping to give back to the community.

Decker’s donated boxes filled with all the trimmings for Thanksgiving and packaged the boxes that were handed out.

“The Lusk Police Department would like to thank Deckers for supplying the food and packing the boxes and the Highway Patrol for assisting in this initiative,” Lusk Police Chief Jake Gordon told the Herald.

“The Lusk Police Department is proud to support our community by distributing Thanksgiving boxes and make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy the holiday,” Gordon said.  “This tradition is about more than just providing food, it is about fostering gratitude, togetherness, and the spirit of giving this holiday season.”
