LUSK – Nearly 11 months have passed since Natasha Requejo vanished without a trace, leaving behind seven children and a com- munity desperate for answers.

The 41-year-old Lusk mother was last seen July 19, 2024, when she spoke by phone with her best friend, Andrea Gustafson. She was in Torrington with her boyfriend and said she was on her way home to Lusk, according to the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigations.

Requejo is described as a Cau- casian female, approximately 5’4, 120 pounds with hazel eyes. At the time of her disappearance, Requejo’s brown hair was colored purple.

Her boyfriend at the time re- ported she simply walked away one day, leaving him and her children behind. Eyewitness testimony puts Requejo in Casper about two weeks after she left, but no confirmed sightings have oc- curred since.

Friends describe the disappeaance as completely uncharacteris- tic. “This is very out of character for her,” Gustafson said. “No one has heard from her or seen her since July 2024.”

Amanda Roesch, another friend who saw Requejo the night be- fore her disappearance, said she’s frustrated by the investigation’s progress. “It saddens me how they’ve disregarded her life in the beginning of all this,” Roesch said. She stayed at Roesch’s home July 18, 2024, the night before vanishing.

The case has seen little movement since Requejo was first reported missing. According to the Lusk Po- lice Department, there has been no movement on Requejo’s case as of January 2025.

condition requiring ongoing care, though specific details have not been publicly released.

Roesch expressed concerns about Requejo’s associates. “She had some shady friends,” Roesch said, recall- ing a warning her husband gave Re- quejo about being aware of the com- pany she kept. “I’m stuck on what to do next.”

Roesch remains convinced her friend did not leave voluntarily. “She didn’t leave willingly. I know this,” she said. “Even her sister who didn’t get along with Natasha has Adding complexity to the investigation, family and friends have indicated Requejo has a medical agreed she wouldn’t just leave.”

Roesch vowed to keep advocating for her missing friend. “I won’t let her go forgotten, even if it’s just me speaking up for her, posting her photo, not letting her name die.”

Despite the passage of time, Gus- tafson hasn’t given up hope of see- ing her friend alive. “I just want Natasha to know I’m not mad at her if she left willingly — I’m still her best friend,” Gustafson said. “She can still get ahold of me anytime. I hope and pray she is safe. We haven’t given up hope.”

Requejo is still listed as missing on Wyoming Department of Criminal In- vestigations Missing Persons Database.

Her family continues to hold vigil as summer returns to Wyoming, hoping for any word about the miss- ing mother. Friends have made pub- lic pleas for information, with one saying simply, “Just come home. Everyone just wants answers.”
