LUSK – Niobrara County High School (NCHS) seniors were celebrated during the NCHS graduation on May 19.
The graduates were given praises and honors for their hard work and celebrating together as they look towards the future. Salutatorians were Haven Hendricks and Gracie ZumBrunnen. The honor of valedictorian was Tessa Manning.

LUSK – Niobrara County High School (NCHS) seniors were celebrated during the NCHS graduation on May 19.
The graduates were given praises and honors for their hard work and celebrating together as they look towards the future. Salutatorians were Haven Hendricks and Gracie ZumBrunnen. The honor of valedictorian was Tessa Manning.
Attendees were treated with the opening by the NCHS band and senior Jackson Smith welcoming all. Commencement speakers were Logan Wasson and Reece Andre. Lusk Elementary/Middle School teachers, Tracianne Zerbe and Roxanne Fish were honored during the ceremony for their years of teaching students. Zerbe and Fish are retiring this year. ZumBrunnen and Manning also spoke during the graduation ceremony.
NCHS principal, Kathrine Kruse, presented the class of 2025. There were congratulations and praises from faculty, friends and family. Graduates received their diplomas and so began their next chapter in life.
