PRIMARY ELECTION PROCLAMATION
NIOBRARA COUNTY, WYOMING
Notice is hereby given that a Primary Election will be held in Niobrara County on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:

Wyoming Legislative Officials
County Offices
PARTISAN OFFICERS TO BE ELECTED AT THE PRIMARY ELECTION
W.S. 22-4-101(b) Committeemen and women shall be electors registered in the party and resident in the precinct.
Republican Party:
1 Man and 1 Woman for each precinct except South Lusk, get 2 Men and 2 Women 2-Year Term
Democratic Party: 1 Man and 1 Woman for each precinct 2-Year Term
**Names of candidates will be rotated on the official ballots and will not always appear in the order indicated on the sample ballots**
FILE APPLICATIONS FOR NOMINATION/ELECTION WITH THE FOLLOWING OFFICES
VOTER REGISTRATION
Proof of identity is required to register to vote AND WHEN VOTING IN PERSON.
Voter Registration closes for Primary Election- August 5, 2024
Registration is allowed at the polls on Election Day.
ABSENTEE VOTING
Primary Election - UOCAVA Voters- July 5 – August 19, 2024
Primary Election - July 23 – August 19, 2024
Any qualified elector may vote by absentee ballot. A qualified elector may apply for an absentee ballot at any time by applying in person, in writing, or by phone, provided they are registered to vote. If the ballot is not to be picked up by the elector, the address to which the absentee ballot is to be mailed, or the name of the individual the elector designates in writing to deliver the ballot to the elector is required. Absentee ballots are not available on Election Day.
A photo ID is required to pick up a ballot in person. Ballots must be returned to the county clerk’s office by 7:00 p.m. on August 20, 2024, to be counted for the Primary Election.
CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
Each Candidate, Candidate’s Committee, and PACS, except precinct committee people, whether successful or not, shall file a fully itemized Statement of Contributions and Expenditures Report at least seven (7) days before the election. A person found guilty of violating Wyoming campaign finance statutes is subject to criminal charges. Failure to file a required report could result in a two hundred dollar ($200.00) civil penalty. WS 22-25-108.

6-1 North Lusk & 6-2 South Lusk – Niobrara Co. Fairgrounds – 4080 US Hwy 20, Lusk
7-1 Manville – Manville High School – 250 Seventh Ave., Manville, WY
GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024

Notice is hereby given that a General Election will be held in Niobrara County on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
In addition to the partisan officers nominated at the Primary Election, the following offices will be elected at the General Election:

If a voter requires assistance to vote at the polls by reason of blindness, disability, or inability to read or write, he may be given assistance by a person of his choice. If there are any additional questions regarding the accessibility of a polling place or use of ADA equipment to mark your ballot, please contact the County Clerk.
