SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

September 27, 2023, 5:30 p.m.

The Town of Lusk Council held a special meeting on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. for the second reading of Ordinance No 1-1009.

Present: Mayor Doug Lytle, Council Members Dean Nelson, Chantry Filener, and Tom Dooper. Council Member Ron Pfister was absent.

Others Present: Clerk/Treasurer Desirae Matthews-LeLeux, Public Works Director Todd Skrukrud, and Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Taylor Willis.

Mayor Lytle called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.

Taylor Willis led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Old Business:

COUNCIL MEMBER NELSON MOVED, SECOND BY COUNCIL MEMBER DOOPER to approve Ordinance No. 1-1009, An Ordinance Authorizing The Issuance And Sale By The Town Of Lusk, Wyoming, Of Its Sewerage Revenue Bond Anticipation Note, Series 2023, Dated _________, 2023, In The Maximum Principal Amount Of $747,000, In Anticipation Of The Issuance By The Town Of Its Sewerage Revenue Bond In The Principal Amount Of $747,000, For The Purpose Of Providing A Portion Of The Costs For Replacing The Town’s Sanitary Sewerage And Storm Sewerage Systems; And Authorizing The Members Of The Governing Body And Employees Of The Town To Take Any And All Actions Necessary To Effectuate The Issuance And Sale Of Said Note And The Consummation Of Said Transactions, on second reading. MOTION CARRIED. Mayor Lytle stated that we are still looking into assessed valuation. Council member Nelson shared he contacted Allen Lemaster and is waiting to hear back from him.

The next regular council meeting is October 3, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:33 p.m.
