TOWN OF VAN TASSELL

PROCLAMATION OF TOWN ELECTION

The Town of Van Tassell will conduct its election on May 7, 2024 and polls will be open from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Van Tassell Town Hall. 

Filing period for application for nomination for election is from March 7 through March 22, 2024.  A $10,00 filing fee is required and must accompany the application.  Applications and filing fees are to be remitted to the Van Tassell Town Clerk at P. O. Box 327, Van Tassell, WY 82242.

Eligibility to run for office includes:

• Must be a Wyoming resident
• Citizen of the United States
• Must claim residency within the Town of Van Tassell town limits
• Must be 18 years of age of older
• Must not be convicted of a felony, or if convicted have had voting or civil rights restored.

Every candidate is required by section 22-25 through 109 of the 2013 Wyoming Statutes to file an itemized statement of pertinent receipts and expenditures.
