Pursuant to the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act and the Wyoming Public Service Commission’s (Commission) Rules, notice is hereby given of the Application of Niobrara Electric Association, Inc., (NEA or the Cooperative), for authority to revise its rules and regulations to update the peak energy period to coincide with its supplier, as more fully described below.
NEA is a cooperative utility subject to the Commission’s jurisdiction. Wyo. Stat. §§ 37-2-112 and 37-1-101(a)(vi)(C). The Cooperative provides electric service to members in Niobrara, Weston, Converse, Goshen, and Platte counties.
On February 28, 2024, NEA filed an Application requesting authority to revise its rules and regulations regarding its peak energy period. NEA proposes to match its suppliers Peak Period, which is 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. daily, Monday through Saturday, excluding specified holidays occurring during the Peak Period.

Anyone desiring to file a statement, intervention petition, protest or request for a public hearing in this matter must do so, in writing, on or before April 8, 2024.
