LUSK – The Niobrara County Road Runner Homemakers met on November 14 for their meet- ing at the Niobrara County Se- nior Center.
On their agenda was a dona- tion for the Lusk Animal Shel- ter. Members provided numerous items that Doug Jergensen, the Lusk Animal Control Officer, had mentioned would be great to have in preparing for the winter months.
They included dog and cat food, cat litter, cleaning supplies, bedding, old blankets, towels, etc. and more. Jergensen met the ladies at the Senior Center and was delighted to pick up the loot.
“It’s such a great honor to have organizations like the Homemaker ladies that look out for the shelter and other things in the community,” Jer- gensen said.
