NIOBRARA COUNTY - NCHS Art Class and the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Auxiliary 3511 are pleased to present the: The VFW Auxiliary National Scholarship Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest and 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest for 2024-2025.

VFW Auxiliary National Scholarship assists students who wish to further their education. This scholarship contest recognizes young artists and encourages patriotism in youth.

Each year, more than 4,000 high school students from across the country participate in the VFW Auxiliary’s Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest. The contest began in 1979 to recognize up-and-coming artists and encourage patriotism in youth.

VFW Auxiliary National Scholarships for the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest are: First place - $15,000 Second place - $7,500 Third place - $3,500 Fourth and Fifth place - $1,500 Sixth and Seventh place - $1,000 Eighth thorough Nineteenth place - $500

VFW Auxiliary 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest. Scholarships.  First place - $2,500 Second place - $1,500 Third place - $1,000 Fourth place - $500

Students may enter both two-dimensional and three-dimensional contests in the same Program Year.
