ORDINANCE NO. 11-25-130
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING EXISTING ORDINANCE NO. 11-25-130, WHICH ESTABLISHES THE PAYMENT DATE; PENALTY; DISCONNECT PROCEDURE AND OWNER RESPONSIBILITY FOR PAYMENT OF TENANT UTILITIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE TOWN OF LUSK, WYOMING:
SECTION ONE: That Ordinance 11-25-130 of the “Municipal Code of Lusk,” 2004 as amended, is again amended to include a subparagraph (c)(3) as follows:
(c)
(3) In the event the delinquent account is in the name of a tenant, the owner of the premises being served by electricity shall be liable for the delinquent charges, i.e., liability shall be imposed on the owner of the property for the charges incurred by his tenants or agents. Services shall not be restored to the property until the delinquent charges, the penalty and the reconnect fees are paid in full.
Third and final reading of this ordinance will be April 6th, 2021, 5:00 p.m. during the regular Council meeting
