LUSK – Allison Williams, daughter of J.D. and Lisa Williams of Lusk, has been selected to receive the $1,000 Gertrude Chamberlain Scholarship, administered through P.E.O. Chapter I and the P.E.O. Foundation.
Allison plans to attend the University of Wyoming in the fall. She has been accepted into the Pre-Nursing program and plans to obtain her BSN with plans of becoming a baby nurse in the future.
Lucy Ceaglske was selected as the alternate for this scholarship. In the event Allison should be unable to accept this award, it would be given to Lucy.
The funds for the Gertrude Chamberlain scholarship are provided partially by the P.E.O. Foundation along with Chapter I’s annual Soup and Salad Luncheon, held in the fall.
