Rain, wind, and shine. No matter what element was thrown at the Adult Co-Ed Softball teams, they continued on during this years’ 2018 Adult Co-Ed Softball League Tournament. Games began at 12noon on Sunday, August 19 for both the Competitive and Recreation League, with the first two games seeing a decent amount of rain that assisted in a few ‘safe’ slides at bases. This year, four teams competed on the Competitive side including: Covered Wagon, Mill Iron 44, Chain Gang, and Rawhide. Two teams, Rec-Less and Tri-State combined for a total of three teams in the Recreation league including: Ball Busters, Tri-State, and Mill Iron 44. Both sides of the bracket were double elimination resulting in, not for lack of effort, the Chain Gang being the first out on the Competitive side and Tri-State the first out on the Recreation side. With a t-shirt and bragging rights for the next year on the line, teams battled back and forth on both sides with Covered Wagon proving themselves in the end on the Competitive side and the Mill Iron grabbing the title on the Recreation side.
