LUSK - The Lusk Herald is proud to announce the addition of Heather Goddard  to our staff. Goddard has joined the advertising staff with a focus on digital media.

“Since the launch of the new Lusk Herald website in April 2017, we have continued exploring ways to improve the digital media market as well as print media. Heather’s experience and energy is just what we need to progress to the next step of excellence at the Lusk Herald”, said Lori Himes, Editor.

Since moving to Lusk in 2011 when she married David Goddard, Heather has worn many hats in the community including working as a teller at Lusk State Bank, as Assistant Administrator/HR Director at the hospital, serving as a hospital board member, choir director for the Congregational Church, Treasurer of the Silver Cliff Theatre Company, Co-coordinator of the Blessed #hotmess MOPS/Momsnext and what she considers her most important role to-date, Stay-at-Home-Mom to her three children. In each of her positions she has helped with marketing and advertising and has a long relationship as a client with the Lusk Herald. She is excited to join the Lusk Herald Team as an ad sales representative focusing on digital and multi-media advertising.

“I care very much about the ability of our small businesses to thrive and grow. An important part of that is effective marketing and advertising. The small-town paper is one of the most effective ways to reach a specific and targeted audience with proven distribution and readership data for both the print and digital editions. The partnership between area businesses and their paper can be one that mutually benefits all parties and can greatly contribute to the local economy. I am excited to begin building relationships with businesses and help the other Lusk Herald staff to continue improving and building our paper by listening to the needs of our clients and helping them communicate what they have to offer Niobrara County and the surrounding area”, said Goddard.

“We are excited to have Heather join our staff at the Lusk Herald. She brings with her a vast knowledge of marketing strategies and ideas to better serve the businesses of Lusk and Niobrara County. I look forward to working alongside her and expanding on what the Lusk Herald has to offer our local businesses”, added Rob Mortimer, Publisher.
